Susan and her husband Kevin met in the New York area and eventually moved to Charlotte to be closer to family. In 2011 they bought a home on Hilton Head as a place to gather for holidays and summer vacations. A permanent move in 2020 was a natural transition as the island weaved itself into the fabric of family life.

Together Susan and her husband have renovated five homes transforming interior and exterior spaces. 

As a former Senior Vice President with a  large investment management company and a boutique healthcare firm, Susan understands the importance of budgeting and project planning. 

In 2015, she enrolled in classes at the McColl Center for Art & Innovation, completing a Visual Thinking Strategies program at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and volunteered as a museum docent. She pursued and obtained her Professional Organizing Certification. 

In her spare time Susan enjoys gardening, outdoor sports, and thrifting for unique furniture pieces. 

Favorite Organizing Spaces:  Reading Nooks, Kitchen and Pantries.

Favorite Design Styles:  Scandinavian and Mid Century Modern.

Decorating Tip: Interesting spaces tell stories. Have fun with mixing styles and incorporating family pieces or highlighting a special collection in your home.

Sophie and her husband Eric grew up in France and moved with their two daughters to the Atlanta area in 2001.  Hilton Head Island rapidly became their favorite destination for family vacations. 

In 2021 Eric and Sophie moved full time to the island.

Sophie's love of decorating and organizing dates to her teen years. She regularly moved the furniture in her bedroom to give it a new look. She would also surprise her relatives with newly organized closets or kitchen cabinets.

With a background in engineering, Sophie is a problem solver and loves decorating and organizing challenges.

Sophie obtained her Interior Design degree from the New York Institute for Art and Design (formerly Sheffield school of interior design) and has since then helped friends and family with choosing colors and updating their homes. She is also a certified professional organizer.

In her spare time Sophie is an avid tennis player, DIYer and oil painter.

Favorite Organizing Spaces:  Kitchens, Pantries and Craft rooms.

Favorite Design Styles: Transitional, Coastal and Scandinavian.

Decorating Tip: Do not underestimate the power of paint. Paint can completely transform a piece of furniture or a room. It is an inexpensive way to change the mood in your space.
